What is "CUSTOM FROM SCRATCH"?

"Custom from scratch" designs are new designs you ask us to
create from a blank slate. If you would like something completely
different from the designs you see on this site, we can most
definitely do this for you! Just email us the information about what
type of design you are wanting, and we will create three
or four samples to fit your specifications. You can then make any
changes you wish to the designs. We will continue to tweak them
for you until they are exactly what you have in mind.

Since "Custom from Scratch" designs take a bit more time to create
than the designs we already have in our database, we must
charge a small fee to compensate for our time. This fee is $20.00,
and will be added to the total order amount.

What if I just want to change a font or color on an existing
design? Is this considered "Custom From Scratch"?

If you see a design you like on our site, but you wish to only
change the color or the font - there is no extra fee for this. We
consider this part of your personalization of the card. Any of the
existing designs on our site can be personalized to make it your
own. So if you find a design that you really like and want to
change it to your favorite color or use a different font - that is just
fine! Let us know what you would like and we will make this change
for you. This is NOT considered a "Custom From Scratch" design.

What if I see a design that I like and want to use it for a different
purpose - for instance, I really like a holiday card design but I
want to tweak it and use it as a birth announcement design.
Can I do this? Is this considered a "Custom From Scratch" design?

Yes, you can most definitely do this! No, there will not be an additional
fee charged for this. All of the existing designs on our site can be
tweaked for any occasion. So if you find an invitation design that
you really like and want to change it into a birth announcement
design - we can do that for you. No problem at all! Just let us know
what design you like and how you wish to change it. We will then
create the samples for you and email this to you. And this is NOT
considered a "Custom From Scratch" design. So there will be
