WOW - Walk of Women. This is a Celebration Charity Walk
to help raise money for the Fight for Women's Cancers.

WOW was created by a wonderful and strong woman. Her
name is Tina Adams. She is a loving wife to her highschool
sweetheart - Chris, an awesome mom to her two sweet baby
girls - Abby (3) and Mackenzie (1), and one of the greatest
friends a girl could ever ask for... loving, encouraging, supportive,
very thoughtful and just down-right fun to be around!

Now I will let Tina share about her fight in her own words...

My name is Christina “Tina” Adams. I am 34 years old and was
diagnosed on August 25, 2009 with Cervical Cancer. Since then,
I have undergone surgery, radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
I completed my treatments in March 2010. I want to celebrate with
everyone that has helped me through this challenge by hosting a
celebration and charity walk.

This walk symbolizes the hard road I and so many other women
have traveled fighting cancer. So many friends and family have
walked beside me on this journey, why stop now? We will walk
7 kilometers (4.34 miles) representing each month of
my medical treatment.

Throughout my journey, I received services from the
SEGO-We Care Foundation. It is a not for profit organization
assisting gynecologic cancer patients. I would like to give back
to this organization by raising money and awareness for them. 

The first annual WOW - Walk of Women was held on May 22, 2010.
It was a huge success! We raised over $6400 for the SEGO-We Care
Foundation! Thank you all for your support!
